Lelia is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where she studied Foods and Nutrition. She has worked with chefs in Boston as well as attending master fish classes at the Cordon Bleu in Paris. Her hands-on experience in the fish market and the restaurant serve as great background in helping others prepare seafood successfully. Lelia has taught at cooking schools in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana. Her philosophy is the same as she uses in her restaurant the best and freshest ingredients you can find, prepared simply. Currently, Lelia has classes scheduled with Campbells Gourmet Cottage in Louisville, Kitchen Affairs in Evansville, Indiana, and The Stocked Pot in Huntingberg, Indiana.
