Our philosophy is good fresh food prepared simply! You won't find lots of fancy stuff at Stan's…but what you will find are the best quality ingredients made into great tasting sandwiches, dinners, soups and salads.

We sell only Certified American Shrimp, so you don't have to worry about additives and chemicals that are found on farm-raised imports, and we are supporting our American shrimping industry as well. Or our “dry” scallop only policy…we will not sell scallops that have been brined in tripolyphosphates. Or our chemical free fish, we do not use fish that have been soaked in salt-water solutions or phosphates. Or our salmon, our salmon receives no fish meal or protein feed at all, so you don't have to worry about PCB problems associated with many farm raised salmon. You get the idea…we want our seafood to be as pure and fresh as possible.
Until only a few years ago, there was no beef on our menu. Since it was difficult to meet our quality standards in the beef industry, we decided to raise our own, and DreamCatcher Farm was born. You may now enjoy a certified naturally raised burger at Stan's.
Our food isn't just good, healthy food…it tastes great as well. Stan's Fish Sandwich has been honored numerous times with Louisville's “Best Fish Sandwich” award from Louisville Magazine. Other recognition includes PREP Magazine's “Blue Plate Award” for best independent seafood restaurant in Kentucky, and a feature article in Southern Living Magazine.
